Flowers and bees are also about honey. Hear about life inside the hive where there is febrile activity. It is here that the pollen and nectar of the flowers turn into golden shimmer honey. The recipe has been passed down for millions of years and passed down from mother to daughter.
Join beekeeper and nature guide Caroline on a hike in the farming landscape. We visit apiaries in the flower meadow, in the garden and at the vegetable garden. When you leave here, you will have an understanding of the importance of the place to bees and pollination.
Back at Mittlandsgården we taste honey from the different apiaries. Feel the taste of the landscape and the diversity. Choose your own favorite to bring home — a gift for you from us and our bees.

- Gathering at Mittlandsgården, arrive 10 minutes before
- Hiking approx. 1 km along flat but slightly uneven path, we recommend hiking shoes or steady shoes
- Bring water bottle for hot days and rainjacket/windbreaker if needed
